One queue for everything that needs doing.

A repair, an inspection, a guest complaint, a failed check — in Vabumi they are the same kind of thing: a task, pinned to the exact place on the building model where it happened. There is no separate ticket system, work-order tool or maintenance log to keep in sync, because there is only one of them.

Voice, WhatsApp, QR or web

One queue behind all four.

Manual fallback everywhere

Every AI step can be done by hand.

What today looks like without it

  • Three tools and a group chat, none of which agree on what is still open.
  • A fault reported at two in the morning into a thread nobody reads until Thursday.
  • “It’s fixed” with nothing to show for it, and no way to tell who fixed it or when.

What it does

Captured however it actually happens

A voice note, a WhatsApp message, a QR scan at the door, a line typed into the web app, or a routine item marked failed. Vabumi transcribes it, translates it, and structures it into a task with a location, a category and a suggested priority.

Pinned to the place, not to a room number

Site, building, floor, room, surface, piece of equipment — all of it is one spatial model, and every task hangs off a node in it. The history follows the thing, so the next person to open that fryer sees what happened to it last time.

Routed to the right person

Assignment weighs skills, current workload and history of similar work, and suggests who should take it. Suggestions only — a manager approves, overrides or reassigns, and manual assignment always works.

Contractors, without giving them a seat

Hand a job to an outside vendor with a link. No login, no licence, no onboarding call. Your team still sees the status and the open-work count per vendor.

Closed with proof

A photo, a timestamp, and who did it — on a permanent record that outlives the shift, the season and the person. Done means done, and it is still there in March when somebody asks.

Flags that mean something

Priority, urgent and flagged are three independent signals rather than one overloaded dropdown, so “the boiler” and “the GM is watching this one” do not have to fight for the same field.

Report, route, resolve

  1. 01

    Report

Anyone on the floor sends a voice note or a photo, or scans the code on the door. No app, no login, no form to learn.

  2. 02

    Route

Vabumi structures it, places it on the model, and puts it in front of the person best placed to do it — or a contractor, if that is who handles it.

  3. 03

    Resolve

The work is closed with a photo. The record is permanent, searchable, and already formatted for the audit you have not been asked for yet.

See it on your own building.

A short call, then a walkthrough on a model of a property like yours. If it is not a fit we will say so — we are a small team and we would rather spend the hour on the right hotels.
