What it does
A plan that follows real checkouts
Assignments are drafted from live occupancy and checkout data, not from a list printed this morning. When a checkout moves, the plan moves with it — nobody has to redistribute rooms by hand at eleven.
Six states, one meaning
Dirty, in progress, clean, inspected, and out of the cycle entirely — each room sits in exactly one state, and that state means the same thing in housekeeping, at the desk and on the manager's dashboard. There is no second version of the truth.
A failed check blocks the room
When a cleaning check fails, Vabumi opens a maintenance task against the exact spot and holds the room blocked until it is resolved. A room with an open fault cannot quietly be sold.
The front desk sees it change
Clean status is written back to your PMS on inspection. Reception answers “is 214 ready?” from their own screen, in the system they already live in.
Their phone, their language
Housekeepers take their list and report back with a photo or a voice note — over WhatsApp if they would rather not install anything. Transcription auto-detects across 90+ languages, so nobody has to report a problem in their second one.
Live status for whoever is asking
A floor board shows which rooms are turning over and which housekeeper is in which room right now. An early arrival gets “fifteen minutes” instead of “let me check.”
